This morning, we officially began the 2nd Assembly of the Delegation of Cameroon. All those invited for the Assembly were present. In his opening speech, the Major Superior declared the Assembly opened. He thanked the General Government for all the support rendered to the Delegation since its inception.
Fr. Manuel Tamargo, the president of the Assembly thanked all present for the gift of our Vocation, and expressed the greetings of the General Superior and all the Congregation. He exhorted all present to participate actively in the Assembly. This was followed by approving the choices of moderators, secretaries and other commissions.
Fr. Jude Langeh presented the report of the Government, while Fr. Guy Roger Enama on his part presented the economic report of the Government. The rest of the day was dedicated to workshops based on the above mentioned reports. The brothers were divided into five groups and a questionnaire was given to help comment the reports and ask questions to the Government.
The day ended with a mass celebrated by Fr. Tamargo, in which he encouraged brothers to be faithful to their calling as religious and missionaries.
Father Remy II Messanga was the moderator of the day. So far, the Assembly is in good footing. We implore the Congregation to remember Us in their prayers.
