Thibaut de Marly était moine. Dans son abbaye, il était toujours le premier levé et le dernier couché. Il balayait les couloirs, nettoyait les « retraits » sanitaires et portait la pierre aux maçons. Le roi saint Louis attribuait à ses prières le bonheur d’avoir pu fonder une famille nombreuse.
Antienne d’ouverture : Ps 47, 10-11
Nous rappelons ton amour, Seigneur, au milieu de ton temple; sur toute la terre ceux qui t’ont rencontré proclament ta louange : tu es toute justice.
Prière d’ouverture
Dieu qui as relevé le monde par les abaissements de ton Fils, donne à tes fidèles une joie sainte : Tu les as tirés de l’esclavage du péché; fais-leur connaître le bonheur impérissable. Par Jésus Christ.
1ère lecture : Os 14, 2-10
Ainsi parle le Seigneur : Reviens, Israël, au Seigneur ton Dieu ; car tu t’es effondré par suite de tes fautes. Revenez au Seigneur en lui présentant ces paroles : « Enlève toutes les fautes, et accepte ce qui est bon. Au lieu de taureaux, nous t’offrons en sacrifice les paroles de nos lèvres. Puisque les Assyriens ne peuvent pas nous sauver, nous ne monterons plus sur des chevaux, et nous ne dirons plus à l’ouvrage de nos mains : “Tu es notre Dieu”, car de toi seul l’orphelin reçoit de la tendresse. » Voici la réponse du Seigneur : Je les guérirai de leur infidélité, je les aimerai d’un amour gratuit, car ma colère s’est détournée d’Israël. Je serai pour Israël comme la rosée, il fleurira comme le lis, il étendra ses racines comme les arbres du Liban. Ses jeunes pousses vont grandir, sa parure sera comme celle de l’olivier, son parfum, comme celui de la forêt du Liban. Ils reviendront s’asseoir à son ombre, ils feront revivre le froment, ils fleuriront comme la vigne, ils seront renommés comme le vin du Liban. Éphraïm ! Peux-tu me confondre avec les idoles ? C’est moi qui te réponds et qui te regarde. Je suis comme le cyprès toujours vert, c’est moi qui te donne ton fruit. Qui donc est assez sage pour comprendre ces choses, assez pénétrant pour les saisir ? Oui, les chemins du Seigneur sont droits : les justes y avancent, mais les pécheurs y trébuchent.
Psaume : 50 (51), 3-4, 8-9, 12-13, 14.17
R/ Ma bouche annoncera ta louange, Seigneur.
- Pitié pour moi, mon Dieu, dans ton amour, selon ta grande miséricorde, efface mon péché. Lave-moi tout entier de ma faute, purifie-moi de mon offense.
- Mais tu veux au fond de moi la vérité ; dans le secret, tu m’apprends la sagesse. Purifie-moi avec l’hysope, et je serai pur; lave-moi et je serai blanc, plus que la neige.
- Crée en moi un cœur pur, ô mon Dieu, renouvelle et raffermis au fond de moi mon esprit. Ne me chasse pas loin de ta face, ne me reprends pas ton esprit saint.
- Rends-moi la joie d’être sauvé; que l’esprit généreux me soutienne. Seigneur, ouvre mes lèvres, et ma bouche annoncera ta louange.

Évangile : Mt 10,16-23
« Voici que moi, je vous envoie comme des brebis au milieu des loups. Soyez donc prudents comme les serpents, et candides comme les colombes. Méfiez-vous des hommes : ils vous livreront aux tribunaux et vous flagelleront dans leurs synagogues. Vous serez conduits devant des gouverneurs et des rois à cause de moi : il y aura là un témoignage pour eux et pour les païens. Quand on vous livrera, ne vous inquiétez pas de savoir ce que vous direz ni comment vous le direz : ce que vous aurez à dire vous sera donné à cette heure-là. Car ce n’est pas vous qui parlerez, c’est l’Esprit de votre Père qui parlera en vous. Le frère livrera son frère à la mort, et le père, son enfant ; les enfants se dresseront contre leurs parents et les feront mettre à mort. Vous serez détestés de tous à cause de mon nom ; mais celui qui aura persévéré jusqu’à la fin, celui-là sera sauvé. Quand on vous persécutera dans une ville, fuyez dans une autre. Amen, je vous le dis : vous n’aurez pas fini de passer dans toutes les villes d’Israël quand le Fils de l’homme viendra.
Prière sur les offrandes
Puissions-nous être purifiés, Seigneur, par l’offrande qui t’est consacrée ; Qu’elle nous conduise, jour après jour, au Royaume où nous vivrons avec toi. Par Jésus.

Goûtez et voyez comme est bon le Seigneur, heureux qui trouve en lui son refuge.
Prière après la communion
Comblés d’un si grand bien, nous te supplions, Seigneur: Fais que nous en retirions des fruits pour notre salut et que jamais nous ne cessions de chanter ta louange. Par Jésus.
Méditation
La suite du Christ est faite d’épreuves et de sacrifices. Dans l’évangile de ce jour, Jésus parle clairement aux disciples qui se mettront ou qui se mettent à sa suite. Il les conseille et les exhorte à être forts lors de l’épreuve. C’est lui, le Christ qui nous envoie. C’est aussi lui qui nous invite à une confiance totale en LUI. Sommes-nous prêts à suivre le Christ ? Si nous regardons la façon dont il s’est donné, si nous contemplons son amour, nous aurons la force de nous mettre résolument à sa suite. Puisse-t-il donc nous y aider.

St. Dominic
(1170 – 1221)
He was born in Castile (part of modern Spain) and became a canon of the cathedral of Osma. In 1216 he founded the Order of Preachers, dedicated to saving souls by preaching and persuasion. Dominic died at Bologna on 6th August 1221.

In the midst of the Church he opened his mouth, and the Lord filled him with the spirit of wisdom and understandingand clothed him in a robe of glory.
Collect
May Saint Dominic come to the help of your Church by his merits and teaching, O Lord, and may he, who was an outstanding preacher of your truth, be a devoted intercessor on our behalf. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
First reading : Ezekiel 1:2-5,24-28
On the fifth of the month – it was the fifth year of exile for King Jehoiachin – the word of the Lord was addressed to the priest Ezekiel son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldaeans, on the bank of the river Chebar. There the hand of the Lord came on me. I looked; a stormy wind blew from the north, a great cloud with light around it, a fire from which flashes of lightning darted, and in the centre a sheen like bronze at the heart of the fire. In the centre I saw what seemed four animals. I heard the noise of their wings as they moved; it sounded like rushing water, like the voice of Shaddai, a noise like a storm, like the noise of a camp; when they halted, they folded their wings, and there was a noise. Above the vault over their heads was something that looked like a sapphire; it was shaped like a throne and high up on this throne was a being that looked like a man. I saw him shine like bronze, and close to and all around him from what seemed his loins upwards was what looked like fire; and from what seemed his loins downwards I saw what looked like fire, and a light all round like a bow in the clouds on rainy days; that is how the surrounding light appeared. It was something that looked like the glory of the Lord. I looked, and prostrated myself.

- Praise the Lord from the heavens, praise him in the heights. Praise him, all his angels, praise him, all his host.

- Let them praise the name of the Lord for healone is exalted. The splendour of his name reaches beyond heaven and earth.

Gospel : Matthew 17:22-27
One day when they were together in Galilee, Jesus said to his disciples, ‘The Son of Man is going to be handed over into the power of men; they will put him to death, and on the third day he will be raised to life again.’ And a great sadness came over them. When they reached Capernaum, the collectors of the half-shekel came to Peter and said, ‘Does your master not pay the half-shekel?’ ‘Oh yes’ he replied, and went into the house. But before he could speak, Jesus said, ‘Simon, what is your opinion? From whom do the kings of the earth take toll or tribute? From their sons or from foreigners?’ And when he replied, ‘From foreigners’, Jesus said, ‘Well then, the sons are exempt. However, so as not to offend these people, go to the lake and cast a hook; take the first fish that bites, open its mouth and there you will find a shekel; take it and give it to them for me and for you.’
Prayer over the Offerings
Attend mercifully to the prayers we offer you, O Lord, by the intercession of Saint Dominic, and through the great power of this sacrifice strengthen by the protection of your grace those who champion the faith. Through Christ our Lord.
Communion Antiphon : Cf. Mt 24: 46-47
Blessed is the servant whom the Lord finds watching when he comes. Amen I say to you: He will put that servant in charge of all his property.
Prayer after Communion
May your Church, O Lord, receive with wholehearted reverence the power of this heavenly Sacrament, by which we have been nourished on the commemoration of Saint Dominic, and may your Church, having flourished by means of his preaching, be helped through his intercession. Through Christ our Lord.
Meditation
Jesus and the disciples “ were together in Galilee”. In the Gospel, the fact that they were together underlines the closeness of Christ to people. Then He opens His Heart to them to entrust them with the path of His Passion, His Death and His Resurrection, a feeling that He carries in His heart and that He does not want those He loves so much to ignore. The episode of the payment of taxes is then recounted, and here, once again, the evangelist gives us a glimpse of how Jesus settles this question through the distinction between those who are supposed to pay these taxes and those who are not, because having the absolute assurance of their life with them, they are above these taxes. Finally, Christ returns to the established order of men, which must nevertheless be respected so as not to cause an occasion of sin and scandal. He shows them how to get the money they need to pay their dues.
IV Assemblée Ordinaire de la Délégation Indépendante du Cameroun.
Réunis au Centre spirituel NOTRE DAME DU PERPÉTUEL SECOURS pour leur Assemblée , les Claretains du Cameroun ont communié ce matin avec l’évêque du Diocèse de Mbalmayo Mgr Ndi Okalla. 
Pendant son entretien , l’évêque a voulu apprécié le chemin fait par cette Congrégation missionnaires dans son Diocèse aucours des dernières années . Un parcours marqué par une collaboration franche dans la mission dont il se félicite et demande à renforcer pour les années à venir . En syntonie avec le thème choisie pour cette Assemblée Ordinaire, ” Enracines dans le Christ et audacieux pour la mission : Pour une Délégation au service de la réconciliation, la justice et la paix ” l’évêque a rappelé le rôle missionnaire important que la Congrégation devra jouer dans le contexte camerounais qui connait de multiples violences. 
L’Assemblée s’achemine vers un autre point important car des 12 h 00 le nouveau gouvernement nommé par le Supérieur Général Matthew Vatamattham,cmf sera connu.
